We had our gender scan yesterday, and baby is officially a girl! We have named her Gwendolyn, and I am so freaking excited! So is Matt lol! We had our appt yesterday afternoon, and it was the longest day of my life, I'm pretty sure :p And then the appt was 30 minutes late, so I'm sitting there with this insanely full bladder going OMG OMG OMG. It was ridiculous! We had a much nicer ultrasound tech this time, and really enjoyed the experience. Little Gwenny was very stubborn, and took quite a bit of prodding before she would show us her bits! Good girl, start that modesty early ;)
Matt said he thought it was a boy, but I had a feeling going in that it was a girl. I'd had a couple dreams about it being a 'she,' and found myself planning more 'sparkly' decor for the nursery. Turns out I was right! Funny eh? Everything looked good with baby, and now we are in full on 'Holy cow this is actually happening!' mode. It was amazing to see her little arms move on the ultrasound, and how much she looks like a baby now! She is beautiful already. Everyone is very excited for us, and we love all the support we are getting.
I've also started feeling a lot more movement! I was worried because she had been quiet for a few days, but yesterday and the day before she moved like crazy! Matt put his hand on my belly and apparently she just LOVED that, because she went bananas; it was the most movement I'd felt out of her. Made my heart happy!
I can't believe I am over halfway done with my pregnancy! I'm finally starting to enjoy it. :)

18 and counting
Almost halfway there! And in 2 weeks, we find out what the tadpole is! I'm feeling better every week, it seems like. My energy level was muuuuch better this weekend; I actually managed to do homework and get some organization done! We added a 3rd shade of blue to the nursery and it looks great. We also have a bunch of art up. I'm not going to do anything else until we find out the gender, because I don't want to boy it up a ton and find out it's a girl.
And I'm not sure, but I think I *MIGHT* have felt the baby move last night! It felt like something in my stomach turned over with a little :flomp:. I felt the same thing this morning. Hopefully it's the baby and not gas :p
