Third trimester!

Holy cow, less than 3 months to go! 89 days, actually, until my EDD. I have a feeling she's coming early though. She was already measuring so big that I doubt they will let me go the whole time, but we'll see. Just a hunch! I can tell she's growing like a weed though, because she's putting pressure on different areas now (i.e. ALL of them). It's definitely hard to breathe most of the time, and this morning I'm pretty sure I patted her on the head when I woke up. Haha! '

I'm definitely getting to the point in the pregnancy where I can't wait for it to be over and for her to be here. I'm so tired and uncomfortable 24/7, and I know I will be just as tired when she gets here, but at least I'll be able to see her!!

My baby shower is in 2 weeks, a couple days after I finish school for the semester. What I was thinking, taking school... omg. It's been crazy hard, but I can see the finish line! And then I can celebrate with a shower! I may or may not be checking the registry every day... I really need to stop, haha, I want to be a little surprised! It's so weird to have a party where people just give you things for the baby, but it is definitely appreciated. People have already been so generous; a friend from HS gave us oodles of clothes, and Matt's cousin's wife Mollie gave me a bunch of maternity shirts, which literally saved my wardrobe from sad and pathetic.

We also have the Vegas trip to look forward to in mid-May, which I'm starting to think is going to be a bit (ok, a lot) more slow paced than I had originally intended. My poor feet and lungs can't take a lot of walking... so I think we will just pick one or two things to do (in addition to my dad's wedding of course).

Really, I'm just trying to get through the next two weeks until school is out. Then hopefully my stress level will go down and I can focus on getting ready for the baby!! Maybe I'll start sleeping better too (HAH)

25 weeks

So today is just about 3 months away from my due date, which is crazy! Just last month it seemed like it was going by so slow, but now that April is here I'm in full on OMG mode. Only 4 more weeks of class left, then 2 weeks after that until we go to Vegas, and then there are less than 2 months left! Wow.

Not a whole lot to report; we did have a bit of a scare a couple days ago though.Gwen stopped moving around for a few days and it had me pretty worried, especially when a 'kick count' got me only 2 kicks on the whole hour! The nurse I talked to had me come in to be checked out, we listed to her heartbeat (still strong), and got an ultrasound. She looks great! She's all folded in half and moved around when the ultrasound tech was working on me (figures) but apparently she's just a lazy, quiet baby. I'm still not feeling her move more than a couple times every few hours, but I'm not worried anymore. Everything looks fine, and she is measuring over 2lbs already! She's gonna be a big baby!!

I also think she has shifted up into my chest a bit, because it gets really hard to breathe at times and feels like something is pressing up into my lungs; not very comfortable!
